Vijay Vonguru is an innovative leader and a strategic thinker. As the President and Co-Founder of Vesta Teleradiology, Vijay is responsible for leading Vesta’s daily activities, collaborating with external partners, fostering innovation while providing strategic direction for the company.

Vijay holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University and completed the Executive Business Program from Rollins College.

Before starting Vesta, Vijay managed multiple positions in the Telecom industry over a period of 15 years that included relocating overseas and starting up an offshore center for the US parent company.

When not working, Vijay likes to travel, volunteer, play volleyball and run with his Golden Retriever.

As Director of Sales and Marketing, Rick Ajdain is responsible for driving sales, Marketing and Business Development for Vesta Teleradiology, with a focus on growing and managing the company’s healthcare client bases. Rick brings to the position a successful track record of more than 20 years that includes high-profile leadership positions and recognized sales achievements.

Rick holds a BS in Electrical Engineering as well as a BA in Sales & Marketing and is a proud UCF Alumni.

Prior to joining Vesta Teleradiology, Rick started his professional career as a Business Account Manager with AT&T Wireless helping companies integrate wireless business solutions to their workflow. Rick’s experience also includes a successful international Sales Manager positions with M2M Group where he negotiated government contracts in various countries. With FARO Technologies, Rick was managing a large territory both nationally and international that served the needs of various law enforcement and federal agencies where he nurtured key relationships and engendered strategic partnerships that led to significant revenue growth.

Rick is fluent in 5 languages, is an avid traveler and adventure seeker. When he is not working, Rick loves to volunteer, paint or cook.

As Billing and Credentialing Manager, April Slade is responsible for overseeing Medicare and client billing as well as maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the provider and payor credentialing/re-credentialing.

April is a Certified Insurance & Coding Specialist.

Prior to joining Vesta Teleradiology April had more than 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Her background includes administration, customer service, patient admissions, scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, medical billing, coding, collections, and provider credentialing.

When she is not working, April loves to read.  Some of her favorite authors include Robin Cook, Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham, Janet Evanovich, and Nora Roberts.

As Account Manager, Vernice Zaldivar manages a team of account specialists who provide clients with the utmost care throughout the onboarding process. Her highest priority is to make this process as seamless and efficient as possible while providing quality customer satisfaction. Vernice also serves as Human Resource Manager. In this role, Vernice is responsible for talent management, employee relations, training and development as well as benefits administration.

Vernice completed her Degree in Child Sociology at the university of Okinawa, Japan. She is originally from Miami, FL and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. Vernice is fluent in two languages and enjoys fitness, cooking and traveling.

As Operations manager Caroline is a professional who ensures that everything runs smoothly from one day to another. Carrie works to maximize processes and procedures while meeting customer expectations in terms of cost effectiveness.

Prior to joining Vesta Teleradiology, Carrie started her professional career as a Medical Informatics Consultant converting a large cardiology clinic to Electronic Medical Records back in 2006.

Caroline joined a large radiology outpatient clinic in 2012 where she served as Director of Operations in San Francisco and Florida managing over 40 clinics including Interventional Radiology and multiple start ups.

Caroline was an Arizona native and attended Arizona State University. Caroline has 2 dogs Vito and Cannoli and is 100% Italian. In her free time she enjoys Yoga, reality TV, and spending time with family.

Bridgette Hawks serves as the Director of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) at Vesta Teleradiology, where she oversees enterprise technology initiatives, vendor management, and compliance driven projects that enhance operational efficiency, security, and data driven decision making across Vesta’s nationwide radiology network. With over 20 years of experience in Clinical Radiology support, workflow optimization, CMS protocols, large scale healthcare PACS integrations, and platform sunsets, she leverages extensive data and analytics expertise to drive business performance improvements at both macro and micro levels of the organization. Her leadership spans PACS architecture, HL7/Mirth integrations, AI deployment, cybersecurity, and business continuity planning, ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks including HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and Joint Commission accreditation standards.

Bridgette earned her degree in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate in Healthcare Law at Liberty University School of Law. Her multidisciplinary background—combining healthcare clinical operations, IT strategy, analytics, and legal compliance—positions her as a key driver of innovation, governance, and long term strategic growth at Vesta.
Outside of work, Bridgette is passionate about creative media, writing, and documentary production. She enjoys traveling with her family, exploring art and history, and spending time with her husband, three children, and six pets. Known for her strategic leadership, analytical mindset, and creative problem solving, Bridgette brings both structure and innovation to every initiative she leads.

Dr. Antani completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University Minnesota as well as a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. He is on staff at major medical centers in the Washington DC area. He has been involved in teleradiology for the past 15 years.

Dr. Antani is an outdoor enthusiast, and his hobbies include cycling, backcountry trail running, hiking, kayaking, and camping. He also enjoys taking his dog to the local dog park to play fetch with a tennis ball.

Dr. Francis Ferraro is a board-certified neuroradiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology and over 30 years of experience in diagnostic and executive leadership. He founded USTeleradiology and later served as Chief Medical Officer for Aris Radiology, leading national initiatives in teleradiology integration and quality standards.
